I really enjoyed this book. I like how the traditional roles accepted by society weren't going to rule the lives of the main male characters. Their love is unquestionable, and their acceptance of each other's strengths and weaknesses is perfect. If you like the MM MPreg genre, and descriptive sex scenes, I think you'll enjoy this book. I did!

I enjoyed the creativity of this story -- That when someone comes 'of age' they get testing done and figure out what they are Omega, beta, or alpha. While the testing is vague, I assume something like a blood test, the results mean everything.
So this is a story of Jace, a guy from a loving home of two fathers and three sisters. He is a leader, big, brawny. Everyone thought he'd be an alpha, until the test results came in. But second chances come and instead of settling Jace seeks more. Along the way he meets his mate and while the attraction and scent is there, both men work towards a relationship first. That was well done.
I would've given this a higher rating if the editing caught enough grammar mistakes that were so obvious. For example in chapter six at 33%, "He's never put up with my crap at any stage of life." Just odd phrasing. I picked this one up on the Unlimited Program. - Dan's Wife

Because things went sideways so quickly I wasn't sure that this was the story for me. Boy was I wrong and I would love to know more about their family.
The story moved along too quickly in places, straining credibility, but was still enjoyable. Interesting premise, though not my usual trope.
Oh I LOVED Jace and Naheed and there banter it was refreshing and funny. Then you have Trevor steals your heart right away. This is for sure going to be re-read over and over. Now off to book 2.

I love non-shifter books. I love mpreg books. And knotting..love, love, love it. Even with all of that, the book was just okay. I would have loved to see them with the kids and their families.
This would have been a 5 star review if not for the many, simple, editing errors that existed. I normally think that I'm fairly forgiving of the occasional error, but there were so many errors in this book, so often, that it was very distracting. And the worst part is that they were all things that a simple proofreading should have picked up.
I loved this story where Jace could be omega without fitting into the stereotype of what was expected from a omega. He had expectations that his personality made him an alpha, and when he found out that he wasn't, it shook the foundations of his self identity. But I loved that he didn't choose to hide himself in some facade of what he figured he should be, as an omega.
